Is every work experience valuable for pursuing MBA in finance or only finance experience? Currently, I'm working in an e-commerce company.

For pursuing MBA, there is no requirement of experience.The basic requirement is graduation with 50% marks. If you have 50% marks in graduation than appear in the entrance exam like CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, and other entrance exam conducted by state government in this regards. -
A related work experience will help you grasp the topics faster, but it doesn't imply that it is necessary. The management course will give you a good understanding of finance through the various topics covered in classes, guest lectures, competitions and other interactions. -
Management studies are more suited to a person having prior work experience (any field). The first year is common to all branches and hence your work experience would surely help you. After you take up finance, if your work experience in e-commerce had given you some exposure to the field, then it would be an added advantage.
