Is EWS rank is used in CSAB counselling? Can I get a seat based on EWS rank?

Dear Student, If you belong to the EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) category, your EWS rank will also be considered during the CSAB rounds of counseling, in addition to your Common Rank List (CRL) rank.
Hence, your EWS category rank will play a role in the counseling process.
