In order to better represent its nature, the Faculty of Commerce and Business Studies was renamed from its original 2009 designation, Faculty of Business Administration and Computer Applications under MRIIRS. It provides undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate programmes, including MCom, PhD, BBA, and BCom (Hons). The BBA (Global) in International Business in partnership with AIS New Zealand / Nottingham Trent University and the BBA course (IBM) in partnership with University of New Castle, Australia, are two of the school's main USPs under MRIIRS.
