Is Faculty of Engineering D.Y Patil Technical Campus -Talsande Tier 1 or tier 2?

<p>The classification of engineering colleges into Tier-1 or Tier-2 has always depended on some yardsticks such as academic performance, faculty qualifications, infrastructural facilities, placement records, and industry links.</p><p>&nbsp;The D. Y. Patil Technical Campus, Faculty of Engineering, Talsande, is officially accepted as a Tier 2 institute.</p><p>The classification relates to the fact that it is quite new compared to the older Tier 1 institutes and placement statistics and values associated with major industries are quite different from that of Tier 1 institutions. It provides quality education and is improving its brand, but has not yet achieved what usually accompanies Tier 1 engineering colleges concerning overall prestige and resources.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
