No, it is not compulsory at all. But fine arts students will get advantage of their study during the period of study of fashion design.

Don't worry, fine arts is not compulsory for Fashion Designing. Even if you didn't study Fine Arts in school, you can still pursue a Fashion Design course. It's true! I would also like to suggest you that if you are really interested a good fashion design course then do choose Chandigarh University.

No, Fine Arts is not compulsory for pursuing a Fashion Designing course, but it can certainly be helpful. Fashion design is more focused on creativity, style, textiles, and garment construction, whereas Fine Arts is more about traditional art forms like painting, sculpture, and drawing.
