Florida Atlantic University is a public research university in Florida, USA. The university was founded in 1961, however, it opened its doors in 1964 as the fifth public university in Florida. Currently, the university has more than 30,000 students enrolled on its various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The university has 21 NCAA Division 1 teams.
