<p>Status of Future Institute of Engineering and Management</p><p>The Future Institute of Engineering and Management (FIEM) has been classified as an institution of Tier 2 category.</p><p>This is typically because of reputation, impact, qualifications of faculty, research output, infrastructure and placement records. It is not denied solid education and good faculty support in particular disciplines like Computer Science, Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering but does not have the kind of national reputation like Tier 1 institutions which include the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs).</p><p>Putting it simply, it can be stated that FIEM is well respected within the area of West Bengal and provides decent opportunities in placement;&nbsp;</p>
