Well, an answer will surely depend on what you mean by the term "Good". Galgotias has everything to offer which makes it a good university. It offers a huge amount of UG, PG, Ph.D. integrated, doctoral as well Diploma programs in, comparatively, a reasonable amount of money. We have highly decorated, educated and experienced faculty members who put in efforts to teach even if there are a handful amount of students interested. There are numerous Seminars, Conferences, Summits, Workshops, TEDx etc. Conducted by all the departments regularly to make sure the students are up to date on their subjects and there is a daily Surveillance check on faculty members operations in class (if they are teaching properly, their punctuality etc. ). There are numerous amounts of Clubs (societies) for the students to join and indulge in which keeps them occupied throughout the year. Our annual College Fest - The Unifest/Gqusar of Galgotias as it is a treat for all the students. Popstar singers like Badshah, Guru Randhawa etc. Have performed in our fests' celebrity nights. The crowd here is mostly of locals from Delhi NCR and nearby states, you will find a lot of Gujjar and Haryanvi people but Hi don't worry you won't feel like a fish out of water, because there are numerous amounts of students like you searching for "my type of people". It has a huge on-campus boys hostel and girls hostel at campus 1, however, most students opt for private hostels. This year Galgotias University students enjoyed record-breaking 85*% round 1 placement with Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro and Tech Mahindra. The students of CS-IBM programs had 98% recruitment u2013 an achievement that exemplifies job-readiness of the programs' pass outs. Year after year, leading corporates like NIIT, Vodafone, Aditya Birla Group, BMW, Airtel, Citibank, HCL and others select Galgotias University students for their all-round skills and leadership qualities. The record-breaking placement at Galgotias is an apt testimony to its focus on upholding the highest academic standards right from selecting top faculty, introducing world-class pedagogical practices to the personality development of the students. It is a well known private university in Delhi NCR. It really depends on what you're looking for in a university. Galgotias is usually known for Computer Science and Engineering. However, it offers several majors to choose from. The placements are generally good. The location is good. On the outskirts of the city away from the hustle bustle.
