    Dear, LPU is known for putting extra emphasis on sound theoretical practical works that are grounded in principles and processes of game art and design. Candidates with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent, subject to valid score in LPU NEST or UCEED are eligible for game designing courses.

    LPU curates two programs in Game design:
    1. B.Sc. (Design - Gaming ) Duration : 3 years. (6 Semesters)
    2. B. Design (Gaming) Duration: 4 years. (8 Semesters)
    With the discipline majors like:
    1. 3D VISUALIZATION
    2. ANIMATION
    3. CONCEPTUAL DESIGN
    4. EFFECTS AND SIMULATION
    5. GRAPHICS
    And specializations within the branch like:
    1. GAME ART
    2. GAME DESIGNING
    3. PLAYGRAMMING
    LPU makes perfect sense. There is an International Exposure Option available too.

    Lovely Professional University provides ample opportunities in Multimedia Gaming and Graphics. There is a separate School of Design for the Programmes of Multimedia and Design. This Department has well-equipped labs with high-end workstations and it has gaming studios also where students can play and test the games on play station, PC, and x box platform. The faculty is highly qualified.     Hello Anurag, You have chosen a right career. If you really wish to become a video game developer and a big name in the same gaming production forte. Then you can proceed with 4 years degree programme. At various Universities it is called with a different programme name. # But be careful, Few Colleges offers Multimedia and Animation. They will try to make you fool by depicting this degree as Gaming degree. Actually there will be Subject in which their curriculum will do nothing with Gaming Degree.     Definitely, LPU is a good University to do B. Design as it provides ample of opportunities to all the students who are studying in different courses. LPU Provides degrees of 3 and 4 years after 10+ 2 a and 2 years after graduation

    Passing with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to valid score in LPU-NEST or UCEED. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants). With all of this, a student can go for B.Sc in game designing here at LPU.
