LPU curates two programs in Game design: 1. B.Sc. (Design - Gaming ) Duration : 3 years. (6 Semesters) 2. B. Design (Gaming) Duration: 4 years. Hi, Lovely Professional University provides ample opportunities in Multimedia Gaming and Graphics. There is a separate School of Design for the Programmes of Multimedia and Design. This Department has well-equipped labs with high-end workstations and it has gaming studios also where students can play and test the games on play station, PC, and x box platform. The faculty is highly qualified. Various companies visit LPU for the recruitment like Kony India, Amazon ( as 3d Artist), Rockstar Games, Xentrix studio, Dq entertainment, Prime focus, Green gold animation, etc. With maximum packages of 8 LPA and average packages are 5 LPA. Hello Anurag, You have chosen a right career. If you really wish to become a video game developer and a big name in the same gaming production forte. Then you can proceed with 4 years degree programme. At various Universities it is called with a different programme name. # But be careful, Few Colleges offers Multimedia and Animation. They will try to make you fool by depicting this degree as Gaming degree. Actually there will be Subject in which their curriculum will do nothing with Gaming Degree. Being Education Consultant I need to inquire generally and I did so at LPU previous year. During conversation with one of their Academic Executive, I came to know that they are running 6 different Under Graduation degrees under the School of Animation. Out of those 6 separate degree two were of Gaming; 1. B.Sc. (Design-Gaming) 3 years Degree. 2. B. Design (Gaming) 4 Years Degree. Online admissions are in process at LPU, which means their academic Executives will be taking calls to guide the candidates. You can try calling them or visit their website. I heard they have relaxed their eligibility criteria for various programmes aiming to facilitate the candidates against COVID_19 pandemic. I hope this will help you.

LPU Provides degrees of 3 and 4 years after 10+ 2 a and 2 years after graduation B.Sc ( Multimedia), Graphics or gaming ( 3 years) Design ( Multimedia), Graphics or gaming ( 4 years) Specifically taking your query regarding B. Design in Gaming. I just want to highlight that this course is of 4 years I. e. 8 semesters. The eligibility is : Pass with 60% in 10+2 (with English). I want to highlight the specialisation which are offered : 1. Animation 2. Game Art 3. VFX Art 4. Game Design Discipline minors are also floated which are: 1.3D visualisation 2. Conceptual Design 3. Passing with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to valid score in LPU-NEST or UCEED. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants). With all of this, a student can go for B.Sc in game designing here at LPU.

There are plenty of reasons to opt for Design programme in LPU. Then you have to participate in an online counseling from 4th May-9th May. Result of allocation will be declared by 10th May and accordingly you can proceed with admissions till 16th May.
