Is gap certificate mandatory after a year gap?

I took admission in B.Tech automobile in 2017 and during my first year I had 5kts so I took leaving certificate from the college in 2018 and took a year gap. Now I want to seek admission in B.Sc. IT, so is it mandatory to make a gap certificate to seek admission in B.Sc. IT.

Yes, it is mandatory to make a certificate, but you should check the requirement of certificate by the college. If they are demanding a certificate then you should provide a gap certificate otherwise no need.
