    No, GATE is not mandatory for admission to M.Tech in Institute of Technology, Nirma University. If a student has not cleared GATE, he or she can take a written entrance test conducted by the university. Still, preference will be given to GATE-qualified candidates in the merit list. Admission is offered on the basis of performance in the test and eligibility.

No, a duplicate GATE 2026 admit card will not be provided at the test center. Candidates must carry their own admit card along with the mentioned documents and items to the GATE exam center. IIT Guwahati will release the GATE admit card on January 2.
