Is GATE required for National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Gorakhpur?

<p>&nbsp;National Institute of Electronics &amp; Information Technology (NIELIT), (erstwhile DOEACC Society), an Autonomous Scientific Society under the administrative control of the Ministry of Electronics &amp; Information Technology (MoE&amp;IT). Both GATE and non-GATE candidates are eligible to be admitted to the college. GATE-qualified candidates are stipended according to the rules of AICTE/MHRD/university rules while Non GATE candidates are eligible taking admission according to the merit list of the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Gorakhpur. Both GATE-qualified and non-GATE-qualified candidates are eligible as the institute is open to all. The syllabus for non-GATE qualified candidates is according to the entrance exam of the college.
