Is GATE score eligible to apply for IIST?

Asked about IIST - Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology - B.Tech. in Engineering Physics + M.S./ M.Tech.

I am very much interested in astronomy/astrophysics with IIST. I studied my UG degree in EE.
