Is Gautam Buddha University government or private?

<p>Founded in 2008, Gautam Buddha University is a state or government (public) university. The GB university is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and has UGC recognition. Additionally, it has a B+ accreditation from the NAAC. Eight universities-affiliated institutions of learning provide the academic offerings. The university currently provides undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, diploma, and certificate programmes in a variety of subject areas, including science, social science, engineering, management, and law. In order to implement skill development initiatives on the campus, the university and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) have recently signed a memorandum of understanding.</p>

<p>The Gautam Buddha institution Act of 2002 saw the establishment of Gautam Buddha University (GBU), a public institution, by the Uttar Pradesh government. As a result, GBU is a government university as opposed to a private one. Situated in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, the university provides undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate degrees in a range of fields, including applied sciences, engineering, management, humanities, and social sciences. GBU has been granted recognition by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and has received a 'A' accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Being a government university, GBU is supported and funded by the Uttar Pradesh state government and is subject to all laws and rules established by the government and regulatory bodies governing Indian higher education.</p>
