No, a German student visa is not free. You must pay an application fee of EUR 75 (INR 6.8 K) to apply for a Germany student visa. Keep in mind that you will have to pay the visa fees by bank transfer, as credit cards and cheques are not acceptable. Also, the money order must be in the name of the Em
