Is getting admission into NIFT Bangalore tough?

<p>Admission to the offered courses is based on merit in the NIFT Entrance Exam (except for certificate programmes). NIFT is a national-level design entrance exam conducted by the National Institute of Fashion Technology to shortlist candidates for the NIFT participating institutes. The written exams comprise the Creative Ability Test (CAT) and the General Ability Test (GAT). BDes and MDes candidates need to appear in both CAT and GAT. However, BFTech, MFTech, and MFM candidates only need to take the GAT.&nbsp;The GAT&nbsp;<strong>will be conducted in a computer-based mode</strong>, whereas CAT will be offline-based.&nbsp;The scores of the written exams will be used to shortlist candidates for a Situation Test/ Personal Interview. The&nbsp;<a href="https://www.shiksha.com/design/nift-entrance-exam-results">final result of NIFT will be prepared</a>&nbsp;by giving weightage to the written exams and the Situation Test/ Personal Interview.</p>
