    International students with F-1 visas are allowed to work on campus. It is advisable to not work in the first semester. A maximum of 20 hrs per week is allowed during the school year, but a student can be full-time during vacation periods. Students should apply for Federal Work-study programs to get employment easily. Federal funds contribute 65% of the student's wages. The employing department pays the remaining 35%.
