Student employment at MiraCosta College is generally considered manageable. Students are allowed to work for 9.5 hours per week during academic semesters or up to 40 hours during school. Students must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for a work-study award. The college has its job portal JAIN where the hiring procedure takes place and students can find on-campus jobs on the portal.
