Is getting part-time jobs easy while studying at School of the Art Institute of Chicago?

<p>A lot of students are able to hold a part time job while studying at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) due to the different opportunities available on campus and even outside the campus. To help them find places to do internship, assistantship or work in study, SAIC developed a thorough career services program. Such jobs usually include assisting in teaching, gallery work, and research activities, which are often related to their course. There are also hourly paid internships at partner institutions like the Art Institute of Chicago.<br><br>For example, working in retail or hospitality or participating in the Chicago arts community are examples of off campus jobs. However, students will have to be strategic in their time management in order to balance work and education.</p>
