Is GITAM School of Architecture Visakhapatnam Tier 1 or tier 2?

<p>GITAM School of Architecture, Visakhapatnam, is usually a Tier 2 institute. Well, it has quality education, good infrastructure, and various programmes in architecture. However, it's not nationally recognized or ranked as would Tier 1 architecture schools, like the IITs or top NITs. However being strong at a regional level, it offers good networking, experienced faculties, and proper hands-on training. A good balance of academics, hands-on learning experience, and career support for the students who look to pursue architecture can be seen in GITAM under the category of Tier 2.</p>
