Is GMAT valid in LPU? What is the graduation percentage required for the MBA programme at LPU?

    Hi Aishwarya,
    LPU considers a valid score of CAT, XAT, MAT and CMAT. But they do not consider GMAT. LPU conducts its own Entrance exam till previous year i.e. LPU NEST. Thus, candidate had to qualify LPU NEST and Interview both be eligible to get Admission in MBA. It was not an easy task for below average candidate. To tame down the effect of COVID-19, this year, LPU has relaxed the eligibility criteria. LPU NEST is not mandatory now, still candidates has to qualify the Interview. If I am not wrong, minimum 55% marks are required in graduation for the eligibility criteria.

    No, GMAT isn't valid at LPU. Valid exams accepted in LPU are LPU-NEST or CAT or XAT or MAT or CMAT for getting admission in LPU. Also, your graduation percentage should be equal to or more than 50% aggregate marks on any discipline.

    To get admission in MBA in LPU, GMAT is not considered but if you have valid score of CAT XAT MAT or CMAT then it is considered for admission. Eligibility for MBA programme is minimum 55% aggregate marks in graduation with any discipline and student have to clear an interview. To apply for admission visit university website www.lpu.in and call university toll free number for more information. Please keep in mind important dates.

    Hello,
    No, GMAT is not valid in LPU. LPU accepts LPU NEST or CAT or XAT or MAT or CMAT but as per the current scenario of national lockdown due to Covid 19, tests are exempted for admission and in MBA programme, the candidate should have 55% in graduation (any discipline) plus the candidate has to clear the interview. The last date to take admission online with maximum scholarship benefits is 30th April 2020. For more information: www.lpu.in

    In order to take admission in LPU, you need to be eligible. One of my niece who took admission in MBA few days ago told that the eligibility of MBA in LPU:
    55% + Interview
    or
    Completed Company Secretary CS from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI)
    or
    Completed Chartered Accountancy CA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)
    or
    Completed Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI)
    She further told me that GMAT is Not valid in LPU but LPU Accepts LPUNEST/CAT / XAT/ MAT or CMAT

    No, GMAT isn't valid at LPU. Valid exams accepted in LPU are LPU NEST or CAT or XAT or MAT or CMAT for getting admission in LPU. Also, your graduation percentage should be equal to or more than 50% aggregate marks on any discipline.

    LPU does not consider GMAT score, For MBA programme from LPU, you can Pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) or equivalent and Interview or Completed Company Secretary CS from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or Completed Chartered Accountancy CA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or Completed Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI). For Entrance exam like LPU NEST CAT MAT XAT CMAT NMAT score is consider for scholarship only, For more details refer university website: www.lpu.in

    Dear friend, LPU accepts only the score of CAT and MAT does not accept the score of GMAT. You need to have 50% in graduation for admission in LPU.

    Hy Aishwarya, LPU accepts CAT, MAT LPU-NEST, CMAT scores. It doesn't accept GMAT score.
