Is GMAT valid in LPU? What is the graduation percentage required for the MBA programme at LPU?

Dear Sakshi, I am not sure about the GMAT programme at LPU but can sure you about the CAT MAT XAT CMAT NMAT CS CA CMA is accepted at LPU. Once you can confirm this from the admission team at LPU. I did my MBA from LPU itself. Hi, Let me share the eligibility criteria that will clarify all your doubts. In order to take admission in MBA the eligibility criteria needs to be MET in LPU. The eligibility is 55% + LPUNEST/CAT/MAT/XAT/NMAT/CMAT+ Interview or Completed Company Secretary CS from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or Completed Chartered Accountancy CA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or Completed Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI). Let me share with you interview competencies that are tested as part of MBA interviews in LPU. The various parameters includes Fluency, Grammatical errors, elaboration of the concept, Clarity in thought process, Confidence, General Awareness, and leadership quality. In LPU when you sit for an MBA interview there are 2 panelists one from the core domain and the other from soft skills to assess you on speaking skills. Both the panelists will be rating you on the competency and a score will be generated. On the basis of the cut-off score only you will be considered as qualified or not. Hence, whatever is the specialisation that you are wishing to opt for the faculty of the core domain will be checking you on that and keeping in mind the above competencies stated. And Yes, you will be checked about the General Awareness so you need to keep yourself up to date. You will be asked questions related to your graduation degree and what made you go for MBA as well. Dear Sakshi, If you are not choosing LPU for MBA, make sure you are into Iims or the deemed government business schools of India. Moreover, I would suggest you go through NIRF rankings 2020 for B-Schools and plan accordingly. LPU has been ranked 50th. Also, spending more money on colleges has nothing to do with the quality of education. It has to do with the quality of their infrastructure (for private colleges). I did MBA from LPU. Hi Sakshi, LPU considers a valid score of CAT XAT MAT and CMAT. But they do not consider GMAT. LPU conducts its own Entrance exam till previous year I. e. LPU NEST. Thus, candidate had to qualify LPU NEST and Interview both be eligible to get Admission in MBA. It was not an easy task for below average candidate. To tame down the effect of COVID-19, this year, LPU has relaxed the eligibility criteria. LPU NEST is not mandatory now, still candidates has to qualify the Interview. If I am not wrong, minimum 55% marks are required in graduation for the eligibility criteria. Nutshell: GMAT or LPU NEST is not required, you must have minimum 55% aggregate marks in graduation and you have to qualify the Interview as well. Although to increase the scholarship amount, you can take LPU NEST. All the best.
