Comparing IES and PSU Jobs
Both exams are for recruiting engineers in the government sector. There are no major similarities but a comparison can be drawn between both jobs based on the recruiting companies, salary, benefits, scope, and level of competition. Salary Structure
The salary varies from company to company and it's based on the post you are applying for. In the case of ESE officers, the various scales are junior scale, Senior Scale, Junior Administrative Grade, Selection Grade, Supertime Grade, Apex, etc. While for PSU there are 4 categories namely Maharatna, Navaratna, Miniratna Category A, and Category B. If are considering solely pay grade then, PSUs offer better salary packages. Mospes use offers basic pay of INR 60000. They also provides perks and allowances along with it. Why do people leave PSUs use for IES. Most people who leave PSU for IES. Because somewhere it is a job have same rank as other Central
