if u are doing MBA from good college( very good college), than it is perfect. If you can do job in badly manged big company fro 2-3 years and do MBA after that , than certainly you will have added advantage during the course also, and will be able to realise the importance of MBA

If you would like to continue in engineering field the better option will be to go for ME and if you are interested towards management job, you can go for MBA. ANyway it is not a bad idea to do MBA after engineering.
