    The college is functioning in a sprawling 68-acre scenic campus, having sound and self-sufficient infrastructure, at Mangattuparamba, near the National Highway, 15 k.m from the headquarters of Kannur district. The College has a Rating of 85 out of the 175 in India and 5th in Odisha

    The Government College of Engineering, Kannur is a public engineering institute affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University in Kerala, India. The institute was established in October 1986 by Directorate of Technical Education under the Government of Kerala.
