is GRE necessary for admission in canada after a pg diploma course in newzealand ?

Hi,I am a B tech (Information Technology) graduate& working as a lecturer in govt college for 4 years. now got 7 in IELTS & got admission in NZ (auckland) for 1yr pg diploma. Is it possible to get Masters admission in canada after the pg diploma in Newzealand. ? is GRE necessary after pg diploma?
