Not compulsory, but most pharmacy colleges in Ahmedabad are affiliated with GTU. This affiliation ensures a standard curriculum and recognised degree value. A few colleges are also affiliated with Gujarat University instead. Both affiliations are valid and accepted for further studies or jobs. It's
