GUJCET is conducted for admission to Bachelor of Engineering and Technology/Pharmacy courses (B.Tech and B.Pharma. ). So if you have not registered for GUJCET exam then there is no possibility that you would have a rank, and if you do not have a rank, there is no chance of admission via acpc counselling (which ofcourse takes place merit rank-wise).

No, Gujarat Common Entrance Test is not necessary for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test because Gujarat Common Entrance Test is conducted for admission to B.Tech and B.Pharma.
