GUJCET is conducted for admission to Bachelor of Engineering and Technology/Pharmacy courses (B.Tech and B.Pharma. ). In government, grant-in-aid and self financed engineering institutes in the state. GUJCET is not conducted for admission in MBBS. To enroll in M. B. S. course you have to appear in NEET exam conducted for admission in medical colleges all over India. Other options are AIIMS entrance test for admission in AIIMS institutes in India and JIPMER entrance exam for admission in Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, campuses in India.

So if you have not registered for GUJCET exam then there is no possibility that you would have a rank, and if you do not have a rank, there is no chance of admission via acpc counselling (which ofcourse takes place merit rank-wise).

No, Gujarat Common Entrance Test is not necessary for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test because Gujarat Common Entrance Test is conducted for admission to B.Tech and B.Pharma. (Bachelor of Engineering and Technology/Pharmacy courses) not for Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery/Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery/Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery/Bachelor in Unani Medicine and Surgery/Bachelor of Dental Surgery courses. For more details, you may visit the Shiksha Gujarat Common Entrance Test exam page. (https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/gujcet-exam). I hope this will help you.
