Other famous universities in Punjab include the Indian Institute. Engineering, Kharagpur (IIT-K) and Banaras Hindu University (BHU), both of which have much higher national rankings. Therefore, although Guru Kashi University is a prestigious institution, it is not generally considered to be the best in Punjab.</p>
