Is Guru Nanak Institute of Technology Tier 1 or Tier 2?

<p>In India, Guru Nanak Institute of Technology (GNIT) is generally regarded as a Tier 2 engineering college.</p><p>Tier 1 universities are often those regarded as being among the best in the nation, such the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and a few other esteemed colleges.</p><p>While generally excellent, Tier 2 universities might not have the same resources or recognition as Tier 1 colleges.</p><p>Some&nbsp; Elite and Tier 1 colleges in India are :-</p><p>Elite :&mdash; IITs (Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Roorkee, Guwahati, BHU), Bits Pilani (Pilani campus), IIIT Hyderabad.</p><p>Tier 1: Remaining IITs, Jadavpur University, NITs (Trichy, Surathkal, Warangal, Allahabad, Rourkela), IIITs (Allahabad, Banglore), DTU, NSUT, Bits Pilani (Goa and Hyderabad Campus)</p>
