Things have changed, HBTI-Kanpur now takes admission only on the basis of JEE Mains score.

Since last year HBTI admitted students into UG programs that is B.Tech through UPSEE 2016. Later on, it declared that from 2017 onwards, HBTI would admit students into UG programs through JEE Mains ranks.
