Harcourt Butler Technical University Kanpur was established in 2016 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. and HBTU the university has been ranked 19 by the 'India Today RANKING 2022'. HBTU is recognised by the UGC and is approved by the AICTE. Also, HBTU is affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). Moreover, the university has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. NAAC with a grade of A+.
