Is Himalayan Institute of Technology and Management (HITM Lucknow) a private or government college?

<p>Being a private college, the Himalayan Institute of Technology and Management (HITM) established at Lucknow needs no introduction. The institute is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, UP and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi. HITM is affiliated to the Himalayan Public School Samiti and provides undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes particularly in the fields of engineering and technology, business management and computer applications.</p><p>Being a private university, HITM's source of finance and administration is the governing trust as opposed to the governmental arrangements. He said that its major target audiences are students aspiring to pursue technical and management education in UP with relatively affordable fees as compared to other private colleges of UP.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
