Yes HIMT College (Hindustan Institute of Maritime Training) is the best merchant navy trainee college in Chennai and one of the best all over India. HIMT college provides good quality education and training. The infrastructure of the college is great. The faculty here is good and highly qualified. The college also provides decent placement opportunities to its students. In 2023, 6 recruiter companies visited the college campus and hires 55 students. In 2022, total 10 companies visited the campus and hired over 100 students with a median package of aroung INR 4.5 LPA.
