Being a CAT \ MAT XAT \ GMAT trainer for over 15 years, I strongly suggest that you look at pursuing your PGDM from the top 30 B Schools in India. Most of these B Schools accept only CAT scores. The CAT exam is held once a year in the month of October till November within a window period of 20 days.

It is not bad , I cannot say about the competitive aspect but I can tell you that check about the college having wide platform, good exposure, faculty, research and other academic facilities because these are needed for MBA otherwise it does not hold value. Check from some more sites like SYMBIOSIS,
