HNLU Raipur is a well-known and well-ranked university offering law courses. In 2023, HNLU Raipur was given rank #7 by The Week. It has been ranked by India Today under its "Top Law Colleges in India" category for three consecutive years. In 2024, it was placed at #5 position by India Today. In 2023 and 2022, HNLU Raipur maintained a ranking of #6 in the India Today's ranking list for the "Top Law Colleges in Inidia 2024" category. It has secured better ranking than NLU Odisha, Symbiosis Law School Pune and Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya NLU Lucknow.
