Is hostel compulsory at BVCOE, Pune?

While PGS and private hostels located off campus are options, they are not required for all students. They will have different fees than the college dorms, and they could also impose convenience fees. Also in PGS, a lot of students are departing.

Hostels are not mandatory for all student you can go through PGS and private hostels to which are situated outside the campus. There charges will be different from the college hostel and their convenient charges may also charged. Many students are leaving in PGS too.
