Is hostel compulsory at NIFT, Bengaluru?

NIFT Bangalore doesn't have any criteria of compulsorily staying in hostel. Also, the hostel facility in campus is available only to female students of first year, rest have to live outside college as Paying Guests (PGs). Even first year female students, if wished could opt for PGs. There are various PGs around the college, that can be looked for, according to the needs.

No, staying in a hostel is not required for students at NIFT. Hostel facilities are offered to students of NIFT. It is optional, still, and if such accommodations are offered, students are welcome to stay outdoors as paying guests.
