Is hostel compulsory at Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology?

<p>For all the first year students they must reside in the hostels as it is mandatory for them, however, the first year students who desire to live outside or stay outside under their own arrangements, they must submit a consent letter from their parents before the recommendation by the HOI and forward it to the director students affairs permission is also necessary for the students to live outside. If all the rules are followed properly the student can live outside the campus without any issues.</p>
