Hostel is available on merit basis only. It is obvious that most of the students are to be from 1st year, however, you get a hostel only if you have a very good percentage.

Admission to hostels is based on merit and is only for students living outside of Delhi. Also, the vacancies are allotted or distributed among different subjects, 92.75 percent is quite high. So, you should try for hostels provided you meet all the criteria.
