How much percentile is required in KIITEE exam to join KSOM? I'm a physics (graduate).

No, the course is residential you have to stay in hostel irrespective of you being a localite or not.
There is not percentile for kiitee exam to crack, there is a ranking wise system your rank decides your gd/pi call to come or not. -

It is a residential school, you sometimes will have classes, presentations till 9pm.
And also many event in the evening.
So yes, even if you are locality, hostel is mandatory.
