The Prelim is a sort of filter to weed out dull and non-serious candidates. It does not differentiate among the various disciplines. The Main exam is having 9 papers - II to V are common to all the candidates. Papers VI to IX are based on your options of specialisation. Options are:
Botany
Chemist
