IBPS Clerk exam is conducted every year by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. The exam is conducted to select candidates for Clerical cadre post. The selection process comprises prelims exam and Mains exam. The interview is not conducted for this post. The final selection of candidates is done based on the Mains exam. Candidates qualifying the recruitment exam will have to satisfy the eligibility criteria of the participating banks. There are 11 participating banks and allotment of candidates is done based on merit-cum-preference.
