MBA is a degree offered by colleges recognised by University Grant Commission(UGC) and PGDM is a diploma offered by the institutes recognised by All India Council by Technical Education(AICTE). UGC is made for maintenance of standards of university education whereas AICTE is for technical and management education in India. PGPM is a Post Graduate Programme in Management which is according to the current trends of an industry.
