Is ICFAI degree valid for government jobs as I want to pursue BBA from this university through distance mode?

There is a lot of confusion about this. ICFAI University Tripura, Sikkim are listed as recognised private universities on UGC websites but there are a few notifications about territorial jurisdiction of these degrees offer which says that any private university can't offer degrees through franchise
