ICSE is very tough whereas CBSE is a lot easier than ICSE. ICSE students definitely will have higher intellectual than CBSE students. So, till class 10th go for ICSE. In class 12th, you can switch to CBSE if you are planning for JEE, so you don't have to focus on class 12th as the CBSE syllabus is v

ICSE and CBSE both are equally good in their way of rendering education but considering the need of today's competitive world, I would say CBSE is better. I personally think, ICSE is better than CBSE, because CBSE is a lot easier, but it is also widely used. You can go with CBSE, but I recommend you to go with the ICSE syllabus. Good luck.

Frankly, up to class 10th, ICSE is best. For class 11th and class 12th, CBSE is best.
