No not at all. The requirements for Indian students are as follows: 1) Good marks in your board exam 2) SAT with three subject test (maths level 2 is compulsory). They ask you that if you have taken any English proficiency test, like IELTS or TOEFL, then submit the scores. It is not compulsory. Ch

If you're from CBSE or ICSE board then you need not to take SAT. But if you are from a state board then you need to take SAT.
