IELTS and TOEFL both are English language proficiency tests. These tests are required for international students belonging to non-English speaking countries. English is the official language in Australia and the mode of instruction in universities and colleges in Germany is mostly English. Universities in Australia require you a minimum IELTS/TOEFL score for admissions. In Germany, not all universities require IELTS/TOEFL scores.
