    Hello,
IEM is good for MBA as it is for engineering, if I talk about the placement. Therefore, I would say the placements of MBA are pretty decent for the last 2 years. Every year, good companies come to the campus to recruit management students. If you want to know more. So you may visit:

Speaking of IEM, I would like to say that its a very good college due to the following points:
    1. Faculty members are very good and the way of teaching is very nice.
    2. Discipline wise, it is very strict, one cannot have the mentality of bunking the classes or entering late.
    3. Placement wise it is quite good.

IEM is not a b-school first it is a engineering College which has opened one code as MBA UNDER WBUT university and is not recognised well in india so it is worthwhile persuing MBA from a non B-school .

According to the website of IEM Kolkata, offers AICTE approved MBA under West Bengal University of Technology(WBUT) so it is a point in its favor. Placement is average enough since last two years as asked. other than that it depends on the amount of fee you are investing to what rank of college. overall it is a good enough institute. -As for placement you can browse through the link below to know more about general placement: tinyurl.com/6tt7of8 (please copy paste the link in the address bar)
