IES University is located in Bhopal, in Madhya Pradesh. It is a Tier 2 institution at the very least. However, IES does teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses with enough infrastructural facilities for them. Still, Tier 1 universities are far beyond it. These comprise all the IITs or NITs of India. Tier rankings are always on opinions, and specific factors like faculty, infrastructure, and placement record must be kept in mind while evaluating any university.

  • On general tiering, IES University is known to be a Tier 2 institution. Founded in the year 2019, it is recognized by the University Grants Commission. It is also given approval by the AICTE. In programs offered, this university scores some degrees for excellence; however, on a national level, its ranking or recognition is still not comparable to a Tier 1 institution. The focus on specialized education and industry linkages makes it a growth prospect but puts it at Tier 2 for now.
